City of Frederick Police report road closures and ask citizens to stay off roads unless travel is necessary and to use caution if it is necessary to travel.

The Frederick Police would like to remind residents to stay off roads unless travel is necessary and to use caution due to down trees and power lines caused by wind damage. The City of Frederick Public Works has been working through the evening and will continue to work to keep the streets safe for residents. Please report down trees, poles or powerlines within the city to 911 or 301-600-2100. The following roads are closed due to down trees, poles or power lines:
W4th Market to Klinenharts
Center Between South and Washington
7000 Rock Creek Dr
1005 East Bourne Terrace tree down
1900 Blk Shookstown Rd
N East between 2nd and 3rd street
