[ARCHIVED] Arrest made in theft scheme case (2011-071855)

In November of 2011 the Frederick Police Department began an investigation into multiple thefts from a local business in the 300 block of W Patrick Street. An employee of the business was identified as the suspect in the thefts.

Det. J. Levine was the assigned as the primary investigator on the case and has conducted an extensive investigation into the allegations. The suspected employee, Joy Marcey Wolfe, was charged on November 14, 2012 less than 1 year after the original theft complaint. Wolfe turned herself into the Frederick Police Department on 11/27/2012 and was taken into custody on charges related to this case.

At the time of this release Wolfe was awaiting an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
