Mayor to Create Task Force to Review of Master Plan Submissions
Frederick, MD –At the November 28, 2012 workshop of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, the Board of Aldermen requested that a task force be created to review master plan submissions. Mayor McClement is now setting up a task force to look at Section 310 of the Land Management Code (LMC), specifically the sections that deal with submission and revisions of master plans. The City of Frederick is looking to create this task force of 8-10 persons that will serve for 3 months beginning in January 2013. Interest or knowledge in planning related issues and / or knowledge of master plans is preferred. The task force will be presenting their findings to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen at a future workshop.
