2012-077988-On December 12, 2012 Frederick Police, Patrol Division, make arrest for drugs and driving charges
On December 12, 2012 at 1911 hours Officer Thomas, from the Patrol Division, was in the area of the 1100 block of Key Pkwy. He observed a white passenger car enter the Windsor Gardens Apartment complex. A female driver exited the vehicle and entered an apartment. She returned to the vehicle and left the complex a short time later.
Officer Thomas made contact with the driver, identified as Heather Brooke Degrange, when she parked in a nearby parking lot. He immediately smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A driver's license check revealed Degrange was not licensed. Degrange was placed under arrest. The vehicle Degrange was operating was searched and 4.40 grams of marijuana was located within the vehicle. She was charged with possession of marijuana and driving without a license
Degrange was transported to Central Booking where she was processed.
