A man was arrested by Frederick Police officers after he attempted to sell an off-duty Frederick Police officer several prescription medications in the 300 block of N. Market St.
On today's date, 12-16-12, at approximately 1242 hours, the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division responded to the 300 block of N. Market St. in order to locate an individual who had allegedly attempted to sell an off-duty Frederick Police officer prescription medication. The off-duty police officer, who was out with family, was approached by an individual later identified as Ray Lee Pullen Jr. The off-duty officer advised Mr. Pullen produced several pills and offered to sell them to him for a specific price. The off duty officer observed several pills and stalled Mr. Pullen as he called on-duty police officers to the scene.
Officer A. Gregware and several other officers arrived in the area and located Mr. Pullen. Mr. Pullen was found to be in possession of numerous prescription medications that had been concealed about his person, particularly in his socks. He was arrested and is at Central Booking at this time being processed. A photo is not available at the time of this release.
