On today's date the Frederick Police Department received reports of a single shot being fired in the 1300 block of West Patrick Street
On today's date at approximately 1037 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1300 block of West Patrick Street for the report of a single shot being fired. A witness advised that a black male fired a shot at a silver vehicle, which was also in the same parking lot. The vehicle sped out of the parking lot and was last seen heading eastbound. The suspect fled eastbound from the scene. The suspect was described as a black male in his early twenties. The suspect also had on a black/white jacket and had corn rows in his hair. An extensive canvass of the immediate areas was conducted by both patrol officers and detectives, but neither the suspect nor the vehicle could be located.
