A Frederick Police Officer was injured during while assisting with a trespassing arrest
On January 13, 2013, at approximately 1852 hours, Officer Thomas conducted a patrol of the Windsor Gardens Apartment Complex. During the patrol check he recognized a subject driving a vehicle on the property to be Roscoe Davis, a 24 year old, of Walkersville, MD. Officer Thomas had dealt with Davis several times on the property previously. Officer Thomas served Davis with the trespass notice at 0200 hours on 01/13/2013 and he was informed not to return to the property.
Officer Thomas made a traffic stop on the vehicle Davis was driving in the Willowtree Plaza. Davis began to argue with the Officers and refused to exit the vehicle. Davis exited the vehicle and grab the waist area, including the holstered firearm, of an assisting Officer. After a struggle Officers were able to get Davis handcuffed. He was transported to Frederick County Adult Detention Center for Processing.
He was charged with trespassing on private property, resisting arrest, second degree assault, and disorderly conduct.
