[ARCHIVED] Rite-Aid Pharmacy Robbed at Knifepoint: Case Report #2013-005288

The Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 1000 Key Parkway in Frederick Maryland was robbed at knifepoint by an unidentified male suspect. No employees or customers in the store were injured during this incident.

Employees at the Rite-Aid stated that a male entered the store on 01-25-2013 at approximately 11:40 hours and walked over to the televisions. The suspect removed a television from its box and placed it under his black coat. As he walked toward the exit door he was stopped by the assistant manager. The suspect then brandished a knife and threatened the employee. The suspect was described as a black male, side burns, 5-8 to 5-9, skinny, in his twenties, with black pants, a black coat and a yellow shirt underneath the coat. The suspect then left the Rite Aid on foot in an unknown direction. A canvass by responding patrol units of the immediate are was negative.
