[ARCHIVED] Frederick Police Investigating a Rape at 199 Thomas Johnson Drive, NAC 7. 13-007189

On 02-02-13, at approximately 2000 hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division responded to the Weis Market located at 199 Thomas Johnson Drive for an alleged rape in the parking lot.

On 02-02-13, at approximately 2000 hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division responded to the Weis Market located at 199 Thomas Johnson Drive for an alleged rape in the parking lot.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 31 year old female who claimed she was accosted by two males, one male black and one male white, in the parking lot along the west side of the Weis Market as she was walking home from the store. The two suspects pulled her into a parked car and allegedly sexually assaulted her. Both males were reportedly wearing black watch cap type hats and dark clothing. The vehicle was described as a white four door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu or similar make and model. No further descriptions are available.

The victim was able to escape and call for help inside the Weis. She has been taken to FMH where she is being treated at this time. The case has been forwarded to and is currently being investigated by Detective Ames of the Criminal Investigations Division.
