UPDATE:
The Frederick Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the suspects involved an the armed robbery of the Colonial Jewelers earlier today. Due to restrictions with our press release software, video of the robbery and still photographs will have to be emailed upon request. The Frederick Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Colonial Jewelers located at 1 South Market Street. At approximately 1:30 hours, officers responded to this location upon receiving reports that three males entered the store and stole merchandise. During the course of the robbery, pepper spray was deployed by the suspects.
Currently, the first block of W. Patrick is closed to traffic and several persons were treated at the scene due to the pepper spray exposure.
