Officers from the Frederick Police Department arrested a subject after he was attempting to break into a residence and attempted to flee the area.
On 02/09/2013 at approximately 2:18AM, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100 block of Fairfield Drive for a reported attempted residential burglary in progress. Once on scene, OFC Dodson observed a suspect, later identified as Marvin Lee Stanton of the 100 block of Ashfield Ct., in the backyard of the residence. Stanton was immediately detained by the officers and upon contact with the victim and observations by officers on scene, it was determined that Stanton had broken a screen door and was attempting to break into the residence through the rear sliding glass door when officers arrived. Stanton was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing.

1) Attempted 4th Degree Burglary
2) Malicious Destruction of property less than $500
