An individual identified as Eric Thomas Myers was placed under arrest by the Criminal Investigation Division after he touched, assaulted, and refused to let a victim leave his residence, after an alleged photo shoot.
In January, 2013 the victim stated that she had exchanged a series of facebook messages, with Mr. Myers, in regards to being photographed. She made an agreement with Mr. Myers, who would pay her a sum of U.S. currency. The victim stated during the photo shoot she would be fully clothed.
The victim arrived at the suspect’s residence, located at 931 Cherokee Trail, Frederick Maryland, on January 21st, 2013. During the photo shoot Mr. Myers asked the victim to take off her clothes and she refused. Mr. Myers then inappropriately touched the victim, pulled his own pants down exposing himself, and refused to let the victim leave the residence, by blocking the door. The victim was eventually able to leave and called police. The victim, who is an adult, was not seriously hurt during this incident.
Det. Holler with the criminal investigation division was assigned the case and was able to positively identify Mr. Myers as the suspect. Det. Holler applied for charges through the District Court Commissioner and he was issued a warrant for 4th degree sex offense and other criminal charges. Mr. Myers was located on 02-15-2013 at his residence and taken into custody without incident. Mr. Myers was transported to Central Booking for processing.
