The Frederick Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division has made an arrest in a robbery which occurred Friday evening.
On 05/03/2013 at approximately 549 pm Officers with the Frederick Police Department responded to a reported robbery that had just occurred in the area of the Hill Street Park. A male victim reported that he had been robbed by a group of individuals that were both male and female.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division arrived on scene to assist in the investigation. Det. Petruzzello was assigned as the lead investigator. The subsequent investigation revealed that the robbery occurred in the pavilion area of the Hill Street Park.
Shortly after the call for the robbery a suspect was located by Detective Petruzzello at the Hill Street Park pavilion. This suspect was identified by the victim as one of the persons who robbed him. Det. Petruzzello placed this suspect, Aalyaha Monique Carroll, under arrest for robbery at this time.
Detectives believe other suspects were involved in the robbery and are asking anyone with information to contact Det. Petruzzello at 301-600-4110. Anonymous tips can be called into the FPD Tip Line at 301-600-TIPS (8477).
