2014 Annual Action Plan – Request for Proposals
Frederick, MD – The City of Frederick Department of Planning – Community Development Division will begin accepting project proposals for its 2014 CDBG Annual Action Plan (AAP) on
Monday, December 9, 2013 continuing through Wednesday, January 8, 2014 no later than 2:00 PM.
The Annual Action Plan, as required by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations, describes the projects and activities to be undertaken with Community Development Block Grant funds to implement a number of housing, public service and community development activities during the coming grant year which runs July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015. All proposed projects must be meet the eligible activity criteria and address one of the CDBG program National Objectives of benefiting low and moderate-income persons, eliminating blight or slums, or meeting urgent community needs. Projects must also address a community need and meet objectives outlined in the 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan.
