The suspect in the November 27, 2013 bank robbery was located and arrested in Richmond Virginia yesterday. He will be transported back to Frederick in the coming weeks where he will go before a District Court Commissioner.
On December 10, 2013, a suspect in the November 27, 2013 bank robbery at the Sun Trust Bank, located at 2 N Market St, Frederick Maryland, was arrested in Richmond Virginia. Through the course of the investigation Detective Petruzzello was able to quickly identify a suspect and develop enough probable cause to apply for and obtain an arrest warrant for Andrew David Kreinbrook, age 36, of Newport News Va.
Working with Deputies from the Henrico County Sheriff's Office in Virginia, Mr Krienbrook was located and arrested at his place of employment in Richmond Virginia and taken into custody without incident. Mr Kreinbrook is being held without bond in Virginia awaiting his extradition back to Frederick.

On 11/27/13, at approximately 1458 hours, Frederick Police officers and detectives responded to Sun Trust Bank, located at 2 N. Market St., for a bank robbery that had just occurred. Staff at the bank reported that a man walked in, passed a note to a teller, and demanded money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money in the robbery and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as:
• White male with a beard
• Approximately 25-30 years old
• Approximately six feet tall
• Heavy build
• A grey hooded sweatshirt
• Gray pants
• A Dallas Cowboys skull cap
• White sneakers
• A black backpack
