INCIDENT/ INFORMATION: On 01-14-12 at approximately 2102 hours. Officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to an attempted armed robbery with discharge of a firearm at the Motel 6. The victim advised that 3 b/m’s were let into the room, one displayed a handgun and money was demanded. One of the suspects discharged a firearm and then they ran w/b through the parking lot. No one was injured. CID and Crime Scene responded. The investigation is currently being investigated by CID.
