Frederick Police Department detectives make arrest in armed robbery....
On 10-31-2013, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the Petco, located at 1275 W. Patrick St, in reference to an armed robbery. During the robbery, two suspects tied up two store employee, assaulted one with a stun gun, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash currency from the business. One of the employees sustained minor injuries during the assault. The Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division was assigned to investigate the incident.
Through the course of the investigation, evidence was gathered from the scene positively identifying one of the suspects as, Alfred Dorsey Hollaway.
Criminal charges were submitted through the District Court Commissioner’s Office charging Hollaway with armed robbery, robbery, theft and assault. On 02-23-14, Hollaway was arrested on a criminal warrant in reference to this case.
The second suspect in this case has not yet been identified. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance by encouraging anyone with information regarding this case to contact the lead detective, D/Cpl. Jon Holler, at 301-600-6388.
