The Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division culminate a two month Commercial Burglary investigation with the execution of a Search and Seizure Warrant, resulting in the recovery of the stolen merchandise taken during the burglary.
On today's date, 05-19-14, OFC S. Geiser with the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division was able to obtain a Search and Seizure Warrant for a residence in the 100 Block of E. South St. OFC Geiser had been investigating a Commercial Burglary which had occurred at Tuscanny Design located on S. Carroll St. The Burglary had occurred on 03-26-14. Through some follow-up investigation and other leads, OFC Geiser was able to obtain a Search and Seizure Warrant for a residence located at 101 E. South St. Upon execution of the Search and Seizure Warrant, the merchandise stolen from the Burglary was located. The resident of the apartment was not home at the time of the Search and Seizure Warrant. The identity of the suspect/resident in this investigation is not being released until he can be contacted by the investigating officer. Felony charges are pending.
