[ARCHIVED] Frederick Police andFred. Co. EMS On Scene of Gas Leak, CR#14-40036

Frederick, MD.-On 05/29/14 at approximately 9:57pm Frederick Police Department officers were called to the 100 Blk of Thomas Johnson Drive to assist EMS with a gas leak.

Frederick, MD.-On 05/29/14 at approximately 9:57pm Frederick Police Department officers were called to the 100 Blk of Thomas Johnson Drive to assist EMS personnel with a gas leak. As of this time Thomas Johnson Drive, from Oppossumtown Pike to Hayward Road, is shutdown and the area is being evacuated. There are no injuries reported and Washington Gas personnel are in en route to the location. The Frederick Police Department is asking citizens to avoid this area until the gas leak is fixed. A follow-up press release will be completed once the situation has be resolved.
