[ARCHIVED] Police received call for potential human remains

The Frederick Police Department was dispatched to an incident of possible human remains.

On 04/01/15 at approximately 1441 Hrs the Frederick Police Department received a call from a citizen about locating possible human remains. This occurred in the area of the 8000 block of Opossumtown Pike. Upon arrival the officer could not determine if the remains, which consisted of a partial jaw bone and teeth were real. Therefore, our department's Crime Scene Unit was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival CSU was able to determine definitively the remains were not human but part of a broken anatomy dummy.
