[ARCHIVED] Frederick Police Department Investigating Accident Involving Three Vehicles, CR15-81167

Frederick, MD.-On 10/03/2015 at approximately 2:59 p.m. officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1900 Blk of Rosemont Avenue for a three vehicle accident.

Frederick, MD.-On 10/03/2015 at approximately 2:59 p.m. officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1900 Blk of Rosemont Avenue for a three vehicle accident. Upon arrival officers noticed one vehicle was on its side and the others had extensive damage. Fire and EMS personnel were also on scene and assisted with extracting all parties from their vehicle. Through the course of the investigation, officers determined the at-fault driver was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. As a result, the at-fault driver, later identified as Phillip Eugene Helms, was placed under arrest at the scene. All parties were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. At FMH, Helms was charged with various traffic offenses. After being treated by FMH staff, all parties were release.
