Frederick Police arrested Kelly Lynn Shifflett on Tuesday, January 19th, for possession of oxycodone and marijuana.
Officer Jeremy Johnston of the Frederick Police department was on patrol in the area of the 1400 block of Key Parkway when he observed a vehicle with an inoperable brake light. While conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle for the equipment violation, Officer Johnston detected the odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. Officer Johnston placed Shifflett under arrest and subsequently located a small quantity of marijuana (approximately 4.4 grams) and several oxycodone pills on the driver. Shifflett was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and processed without incident.
