The Frederick Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community in locating a missing person

On 02/23/2016 at 5:36 AM the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Kingfisher Drive Frederick, MD for a reported missing person.

Frederick Police Officers are currently attempting to locate Margo Ann Gaither, a 61 year old female of Frederick, MD. Gaither was last seen in the area of the shopping plaza on King Fisher Drive in Frederick. Gaither is believed to be walking and may have walked into the downtown area of Frederick. Gaither is believed to have early stages of dementia and may not be familiar with her surroundings.

Gaither is described as follows:
• Light Skin Black Female
• Green Eyes
• Gray Hair
• Approximately 5’4” tall and 180 lbs

Gaither was last seen wearing the following clothing:
• Black ¾ length puffer style coat
• Possible blue jeans
• Possible black rim eye glasses

The Frederick Police Department is actively searching for Gaither at this time. The Frederick Police Department is requesting the assistance of the community in locating Gaither. If you believe you have seen Gaither please contact the Frederick Police Department at 301-600-2102.

Previous Release:

Earlier this morning the Frederick Police got a report of a subject missing from the area of the Giant Food on King Fisher Blvd. The female's name is Margo Gaither, and she is a light skinned 61 year old black female. She is 5-04/180 lbs with short grey hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a 3/4 length black jacket, jeans and glasses. Her car was left abandoned in the parking lot of the Giant Food. She was seen on video walking away from her vehicle earlier this morning. She may not be aware of her surroundings or how she got there.

The Frederick Police Department is asking for anyone who sees a female matching this description to immediately call 911, or contact the Frederick Police at 301-600-2102.
