[ARCHIVED] Photos of Suspects Charged in April 4, 2016 Homicide

Tierra and Alexis Lucas

On Thursday, April 7, 2016 detectives charged Alexis Adria Lucas, age 23 of Frederick and Tierra Nicole Lucas, age 29 of Frederick, with 1st degree murder and 1st degree assault.

The Frederick Police Department has made two arrests in the homicide of Brian Mario Graves. On Thursday, April 7, 2016 detectives obtained arrest warrants for Alexis Adria Lucas, age 23 of Frederick and Tierra Nicole Lucas, age 29 of Frederick, charging them both with 1st degree murder and 1st degree assault. The suspects were taken into custody without incident shortly after 3:00PM. They are being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Through extensive investigation, detectives were able to determine Graves and Alexis Lucas became engaged in a physical altercation inside the Olde Towne Tavern shortly after 1:30AM on Monday, April 4, 2016. After leaving the establishment, another altercation was initiated outside involving Graves, Alexis Lucas and Tierra Lucas. During this second altercation, Alexis Lucas and Tierra Lucas confronted Graves, where he was subsequently stabbed in the upper torso with an edged weapon. Alexis and Tierra Lucas left the scene prior to police arrival. Graves later died from his injuries at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Detectives are still trying to determine what led up to the altercation inside the establishment. Preliminarily, it appears the victim and suspects were not acquainted and the incident stemmed from a verbal dispute.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. No additional information will be released at this time. Detectives are still attempting to identify and locate witnesses to the assault who may have been a patron of the Olde Towne Tavern or in the 300 block of N. Market Street when the assault occurred Monday morning.

The Frederick Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward. Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the lead investigator, Det. Kevin Forrest, at 301-600-6219.
