Frederick, MD- On 04/30/2016 at approximately 9:03pm, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of East Church Street and North Market Street for a hit and run collision involving a struck pedestrian.
Frederick, MD- On 04/30/2016 at approximately 9:03pm, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of East Church Street and North Market Street for a hit and run collision involving a struck pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers were able to locate the victim who was conscious, alert and suffering from a minor injury to the arm. Officers then learned a dark color SUV bumped the victim causing the victim to fall to the ground. The SUV did not stop and left the area. Based on the non-life threatening injury to the victim’s arm, the victim was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital for further treatment by EMS personnel.
Since this is an on-going investigation, the Frederick Police Department is not releasing the victim’s name.
