The Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team has made an arrest of a Berkley Springs, WV woman for possession of a schedule IV drug and outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.
On 05-18-2016, officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of the Willowdale Drive and Key Parkway, in Frederick City.
During the investigation, there came a time when the suspicious vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of West Ridge Square parking lot. A positive K-9 alert occurred as a result of a scan. Contact was made with the front passenger, who was later identified as Lakin Renee Wolfe, of the 400 blk of Tanglewood Lane, Berkley Springs, WV.
A vehicle search was conducted and an amount of Xanax was located in the immediate area of where Wolfe was seated, which would indicate she had constructive possession. During Wolfe’s arrest, it was determined she had an open arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.
Wolfe was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
