11th Annual Fair Housing Conference

Frederick, MD -- The Fair Housing Commission and the Frederick County Association of Realtors have once again partnered to sponsor the 11th Annual Fair Housing Conference. This annual event will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at The City of Frederick Municipal Annex Building located at 140 West Patrick Street in Frederick, Maryland. Parking is available at the West Patrick Street parking deck attached to the Municipal Annex Building.
The Annual Fair Housing Conference, which began in 2002, is designed to promote fair housing and education to the Frederick community. Frederick's Fair Housing Commission encourages all citizens and community organizations to celebrate the value of our diverse communities and to observe April as Fair Housing Month in supporting the goal of equal housing opportunity for all people to affirmatively further fair housing.
A continental breakfast will begin at 9:00 AM followed by a proclamation presentation by Mayor Randy McClement recognizing April as Fair Housing Month. Featured speaker for the event is Mr. Mark Simon, Esq. of Village Settlements, Inc. For licensed Maryland real estate sales persons, 1.5 CEU’s in Fair Housing is available.
