Woman robbed at knifepoint at Burlington Coat Factory.
On today’s date at approximately 1147 hrs. officers of the Frederick Police Patrol Division responded to a theft call at the Burlington Coat Factory located at 1025 W. Patrick St. in Frederick. Upon arrival it was found that a female customer was actually robbed at knife point while shopping inside the store. Officers contacted the victim and immediately began a thorough canvass of the area to attempt to locate the suspects. None were located pursuant to the search of the area. The suspects are described as a W/M average height and build with blonde hair wearing a baseball cap and a grey shirt with a number “7” printed on the back. He was also wearing blue jeans. The other suspect was a W/F wearing a white Tee shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes, she is shorter than the male and has long (below her waist) dark hair in a ponytail. The female is described as being in her teens, the male in his 20’s or 30’s. Both suspects were last seen exiting the store and turning Eastbound once outside. The victim was robbed of her purse containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and other important personal items.
