[ARCHIVED] Frederick Police make arrest for possession of cocaine (Patrol/17-052788)

Preece, Preston

Frederick, MD - Officers responded to the 800 block of Motter Ave in reference to welfare check.  When Officers arrived they located a male, later identified as Preece, Preston Steven W/M 12/29/1981, inside his vehicle, which was parked between the curb and the sidewalk.  Preece stated he hadn’t slept in days and pulled over to take a nap. While making contact with Preece, Officers observed a burnt glass pipe known to the officers as a pipe commonly used to smoke crack cocaine.  Preece was placed under arrest and a search of his vehicle revealed a small quantity of crack cocaine.  Preece was taken to the Frederick County adult Detention Center for further processing without incident.
