[ARCHIVED] Frederick Police Department Investigating Motor Vehicle Collision, CR#2017-59783

Frederick, MD.- On 07/28/2017 at approximately 5:32 pm, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the intersection of North Bentz Street and West 3rd Street for a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers noticed two vehicles with heavy body damage. Further, one of the vehicles had also collided into a house located near the intersection. Fortunately, the house sustained minor damage and wasn't structurally compromised. Once in contact with both drivers, no major injuries were sustained. However, one of the drivers was transported to an area hospital for further treatment. Due to the damage that occurred, this area of North Bentz Street was shut down for approximately one hour. It was then re-opened for normal pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
