On today's date, the Frederick Police Department arrested a subject for DUI after he crashed his vehicle into a residence.
On 04/21/2012 at approximately 2:33AM officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of the 400 block of Carrolton Drive for an apparent vehicle which crashed into a residence. Upon arrival, officers immediately learned the driver had fled the scene prior to their arrival. Ofc. Joseph Wheeler located the driver, Devante Dayon Williams nearby and placed him under arrest.
Additionally, Williams did not pass Standard Field Sobriety Tests at the scene and was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. The residents nor any passengers were injured as a result of the accident. The homeowners were allowed entry back into the residence once a building inspector conducted an investigation and deemed the residence safe. Members from the Red Cross arrived on scene as well and accomodations were made for the homeowners.

-Devante Dayon Williams
-2200 block of Wetherburne Way
1) DUI
2) DUI Per Se
3) DWI
4) Failure of driver to remain at scene after attended property damage accident
5) Driving without a license
6) Various other traffic offenses
