Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery which occurred early this morning.
Frederick Police responded to a subject who reported she was accosted at a gas station on Opossumtown Pike by a subject who pressed a hard object against her side and demanded money. The victim having no money, the suspect then made the victim drive to an apartment complex near Rt 40 and fled the scene on foot.
Anyone who was approached by a black female anywhere in the vicinity of Opossumtown Pike or Taney Avenue who asked for money is requested to contact OFC Donovan at 301-600-4103.
