Frederick Police Respond to Suspicious 911 call

 

 

FREDERICK, MD – On 01/09/2019 at approximately 1700hrs Frederick County Communications received a 911 call in which an individual claimed they were being held hostage at Waverly Elementary School. 

 

Based on this information various agencies responded to that area.  Upon arrival to that area and after a brief investigation, it was determined that the call was made by a juvenile with special needs. 

 

The juvenile will not be charged at this time.  FPD would like to thank the allied agencies for their quick response, as well as FCPS for their immediate assistance.
