Mayor O'Connor calls for Closed Session

Mayor Michael O'Connor has requested a Closed Session on Wednesday, Oct 16

Mayor Michael O’Connor has requested a Closed Session on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 immediately following the Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop. Mayor O’Connor will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a Closed Session in the Mayor’s office at City Hall.

            This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article §3-305(b)(1)(i) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom it has jurisdiction. The topic to be discussed is removal of personnel.

Mayor O’Connor will entertain a motion to this effect following the conclusion of the Workshop and will comply fully with the Open Meetings Act.
