Sewer Main Rehabilitation Begins in the City

Contractor AM Liner East will be completing the work under the supervision of the City's Sewer Department

The City of Frederick has recently hired contractor AM Liner East to perform sewer lining services, which will include the cleaning and rehabilitation of the City’s sewer main linings. The work is now underway and is expected to continue for several months as they work through the City.

Impacted areas of the City include:

  • Carroll Parkway
  • Deervalley Drive
  • Key Parkway
  • Key/Taskers Easement
  • N Bentz Street
  • Rock Creek Easement
  • Rockwell Terrace
  • Taney Avenue
  • Thomas Johnson Drive
  • Tillman Place
  • W 2nd Street
  • W Patrick Street
  • Waverley Drive
  • Winterspice Drive

AM Liner East will be notifying residents as they near areas of the City and will share any recommendations for water usage during servicing. Work at specific locations will be completed the same day. The City of Frederick’s social media pages will be updated as new areas of work are identified and communicated by the contractor.

The City thanks the residents for their patience during this work. During servicing, you may notice steam or a light odor. Both will dissipate quickly and are not harmful to the public.
