New Playground Equipment to be Installed at Rosedale Park

The City of Frederick’s Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the installation of new playground equipment at Rosedale Park. Beginning Monday, June 8, 2020, Playground Specialists will be present at the park to install the equipment. The work is scheduled to be completed by June 30th.

The new equipment will include new swings, composite structure, and 3D net climber and is designed for ages two to twelve.

As a reminder, playgrounds in the City are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The City announced last week that playgrounds would reopen when the State of Maryland increases the size of allowable mass gatherings.
