Mayor Calls for Closed Session of the Board of Aldermen

Mayor Michael O’Connor has requested a Closed Session on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. Mayor O’Connor will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a Closed Session in the boardroom at City Hall.

This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article §3-305(b)(1)(i) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom it has jurisdiction. The topic to be discussed is the appointment of personnel.

Mayor O’Connor will entertain a motion to this effect and will comply fully with the Open Meetings Act.
