Sewer Main Rehabilitation Work Moves to Amber Meadows, Heather Ridge and Carroll Parkway

The next portion of sewer rehabilitation work in The City of Frederick will start on Monday, September 14, 2020, in the Amber Meadows, Heather Ridge, and Carroll Parkway communities. The work is expected to be completed within the week.

In February, The City of Frederick announced that contractor AM Liner East would be performing critical sewer lining services of the City’s sewer main linings. After a short pause in the spring due to the State of Emergency and affiliated closures, work restarted and continues in the City.

The City thanks the residents for their patience during this work. During servicing, you may notice steam or a light odor. Both will dissipate quickly and are not harmful to the public. For questions, please contact Superintendent of Sewer and Storm Collections, George Shankle, at 301-600-3883.
