On September 9, 2020 BOE approved additional uses of FCPS facilities (UOF). Applications are now being accepted online at www.cityoffrederickmd.gov for permitted use of middle and elementary school fields within Frederick City limits. Once permitted, use of school fields can begin on Monday, September 28, 2020 and continue through until November 30, 2020. To apply for a school field, applicants must complete the City’s online application process and include the following two FCPS forms : 1. Covid-19 Use of Facilities Guidelines & Usage Implementation Form (UIP) 2. FCPS Covid-19 Use of Facilities Waiver. The FCPS guidelines and forms may be viewed and printed from www.fcps.org/uof. School field users must adhere to 50 maximum total participants per reserved space/field as well as all City, FCPS, County, and State Covid-19 requirements. The restrictions continue to evolve, and applicants’ are responsible for remaining compliant with all current Covid-19 regulations. The City also still has limited availability on nonFCPS fields and courts.
