FREDERICK POLICE DEPARTMENT - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 25, 2020FREDERICK, MD – At 4:12 a.m. on September 24, 2020, officers of the Frederick Police Department (FPD) responded to the unit block of East Church Street for a reported indecent exposure. Officers searched the area and located an adult male and an adult female, both partially clothed. Evidence from witness statements and observations by the officers suggested that non-consensual sexual acts had occurred. The victim was unconscious at the time, and unable to communicate with officers. EMS arrived and transported the victim to a hospital. Officers arrested Calvin Antonio Miller, 30, of Rockville, Maryland.
Detective Matt Irons conducted an investigation throughout the day, and ultimately applied for charges against Mr. Miller. Mr. Miller is currently held without bond at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for the following criminal offenses:
- Rape Second Degree
- Assault - Second Degree.
