FPD to Hold Drug Take Back Day with Health Department and DEA

Citizens are encouraged to drop off unused and expired medications as part of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 10AM-2PM. Medications will be placed in a secure container and all personal information will be kept confidential. You may also remove all personally identifiable information from medicine bottles or containers.

Accepted Items:

  • Prescription medications
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Medical Samples
  • Medicated Ointments / Lotions
  • Pet Medications

Items that will not be accepted:

  • Thermometers
  • IV Bags 
  • Blood or infectious waster
  • Oxygen tanks
  • Diabetic syringes
