Mayor Calls for Closed Session of the Board of Aldermen

Mayor Michael O’Connor has requested a Closed Session on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. Mayor O’Connor will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene virtually in  Closed Session.  

This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article §§3-305(b)(1)(i) and 3-305(b)(8) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom it has jurisdiction and to consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation. The topics to be discussed are compensation of personnel and potential litigation concerning a contractual matter. 

Mayor O’Connor will entertain a motion to this effect and will comply fully with the Open Meetings Act.
