On June 18, 2012 the Frederick Police Department arrested a subject for attempting to break into 4 businesses

On Monday June 18, 2012 at approximately 2345 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of the Frederick Shopping Center on West 7th Street for the report of suspicious activity. A witness overheard some subjects discussing a potential burglary at one of the stores in the shopping center. Upon arrival OFC Dodson conducted a check of the center and located a subject to the rear of the center. The subject was dressed in all black clothing and attempted to duck behind a dumpster when OFC Dodson approached him.
