The Historic Preservation Commission is currently seeking interested persons to fill a vacancy for a 3-year term and current vacancy is to fill the remaining term of a member until 09/20/21. This member must, at a minimum, have a demonstrated special interest, specific knowledge or professional or academic training in such fields as history, architecture, architectural history, planning, prehistoric and historic archeology, cultural anthropology, folklore, curation, conservation, landscape architecture, historic preservation, urban design, or related disciplines. The commission is responsible for the review of applications for exterior changes to sites or structures within the Historic Preservation Overlay District, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Land Management Code (LMC) and for engaging in other functions as provided in the LMC. Meetings are held the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Thursday of each month, beginning at 6 p.m. Interested individuals should send a cover letter and a current resume via email to Carreanne Eyler firstname.lastname@example.org by 3p.m. on February 12, 2021.
