On today's date the Frederick Police Department arrested two subjects breaking into a vacant apartment
On Thursday June 21, 2012 at approximately 0450 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100 block of West All Saints Street for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers located a rear window to an apartment building that was broken out. Officers made entry into the apartment and located two subjects hiding inside. Officers confirmed with the property management that the two subjects did not have permission to be inside and that the apartment was currently vacant. The subjects were identified as Dashaun Lee Smith (B/M/5-2-1979) and Christopher Anthony Owens (B/M/05-28-1974). Both Smith and Owens were transported to central booking where they were awaiting a hearing before a District Court Commissioner. Both arrestees’ information and their respective charges are as follows:
