Beginning today, the Parks and Recreation Department will resume its parade/walk/race permit application review process for events with no more than 250 attendees/participants for activities starting April 1, 2021, or later. Applications will only be considered and processed (and permits subsequently issued) if the event/activity adheres to mass gathering and capacity guidelines issued by the State, County, and City. Users must also submit a COVID-19 Safety Plan.
Please be advised that only posted, pre-approved city routes will be considered. Special routes will not be considered at this time. Users are encouraged to practice physical distancing, wear a mask when unable to socially distance, and practice proper hand hygiene.
