During this evening's Parks and Recreation Master Plan Public Meeting, City Hall experienced an internet outage causing disruption to the online feed for Channel 99. The cable feed experienced a short break while staff worked to troubleshoot the issue but then returned for viewing. The City apologizes for this inconvenience.
The purpose of tonight's meeting was to offer Green Play, the City's consultant on the plan development, the opportunity to share its findings from recent stakeholder and focus group conversations and to solicit any additional public comment before formulating the city-wide survey. To ensure all members of the community have the opportunity to do so, the City has extended the comment period for this initial round of commenting and review through this week (ending Friday, April 2nd):
Thank you, again, for your patience and understanding. The next phase of the Master Plan process includes a City-wide survey - expected to launch in mid-April 2021.
