FPD makes arrest in 100 Block of South Market Street area

THE CITY OF FREDERICK (8)

On Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, Officer Lawson from the Frederick Police Department was working in the 100 Block of South Market Street when he observed a man, later identified as Charles Eugean Brown, 32, trespassing at a property clearly labeled with “No Trespassing” signs in plain view. Brown was also observed littering a beer by throwing it into the roadway with vehicle traffic. Officer Lawson then placed Brown under arrest, which Brown resisted. Brown continued resisting and became disorderly as he was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

Brown received the following charges:

1.       Disorderly Conduct

2.       Trespassing

3.       Littering

4.       Resisting Arrest
