With Frederick now at the 'substantial community transmission' level, The City of Frederick will be taking the following actions as we continue to prioritize public and employee health.
CITY FACILITIES
City buildings remain open to the public. Masks are required for all entering City facilities. Depending on your length of stay, you may be asked to complete a screening-in process.
PUBLIC MEETINGS
At this time, the public is not permitted to participate in public meetings in person. Remote viewing and participation are available (learn more).
- ️Mayor and Board of Aldermen workshops and public meetings are in-person only for board members, staff, and presenters.
- ️Planning, HPC, and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings remain virtual at this time.
- ️Beginning in October, other boards and commissions will return to an in-person meeting schedule and the public will be permitted to join our boards and commission meetings in person.
