The Frederick Police Department is investigating a bank robbery at the M&T Bank on Seventh Street
On Dec. 2, 2021, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the M&T Bank on W Seventh Street, in Frederick City, in reference to a bank robbery.
During the investigation, it was determined a suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency. The suspect is believed to have entered a vehicle and traveled southbound on Md. 15, toward Interstate 270 and Interstate 70.
Photographs and video surveillance were reviewed, describing the suspect as below:
White male- Camouflage face mask and ball cap
- Dark-colored sweatshirt
- Light-colored jean pants
- Tan backpack
